Garrett resides in the Sleeping Carriage most hours of the days spent on the train. He likes the comfortable silence between him and the Unnamed Spider (Kumoko) quite nicely, thank you. His "section" of the train is described as thus:

In one of the corners opposite the Sleeper side, there are a growing number of shiny objects woven into and hanging from the spider web there. Upon closer inspection the shiny objects appear to mostly be fancy pieces of jewelry and ornaments--the styles differ and really clever people might realize each are from a different world the train has traveled to. There is also a painting of a desert sunset on one wall.

There is also a rounded bird cage hanging from the spider web near that corner. It usually houses a black and white magpie within it unless Garrett (or someone else) has taken her out for a bit.

The vanity table closet to Garret's corner has been set up as a work space. It is full of tools, fully made and half made arrows, and pieces of scrap metal in various states of tinkering. A book rests nearby:

Book Title: A True and Honest Account of a Misunderstood Clockmaker
Book Description: This is a true story, or so it says in the five page prologue about how this is definitely true and once happened.

Gert is a clockmaker in a busy, bustling city. He is also an information broker, buying and selling the gossip of those who bring their clocks in to be fixed.

This is a fast paced, often funny, diary account full of mystery and suspense as Gert gets himself into and out of a whole lot of trouble.

Garrett generally spins an orb web in the corner he resides. Though he also decorates the area with various hammocks hanging at different levels from the ground in that area. One is close to the ceiling and he generally sleeps there during the day whenever interruptions are scarce; another is closer to the height of the bird cage so he can hang next to Jenivere the magpie; and the last one is more like a swing near ground level that he can sit in when company hangs out.

Additionally, Garrett spent the first month and a half gathering materials and re-making his collapsible compound bow from scratch (again). Whenever it is not on him, it's nestled high in the webbing, wrapped up like a cocooned prey item. Likewise, the best tools he's found on a mission (an electronic set of tools from Space Mission) are kept up there whenever not in use as well. The lockpicks he arrived with are always hidden on him somewhere. He also has two backpacks hanging around or thrown on the floor and a few leftover smart phones and tablets from a batch he stole from a few worlds. There is a carpet with silver woven into it and painted symbols on it hung on the wall catty-corner to the desert painting. It was stolen from the desert world (with the shadows) and modified by Samata to be a flying carpet. Yep.

POSSESSIONS. Quiver of arrows, a climbing claw mechanism, a grappling hook with rope attached to his armor (this may actually be the claw but if so man he's quick 'cause wtf that one cutscene... idk, it's unclear), a wirecutter, a wrench, a razor (it's a scalpel), a small prybar, some various knicknacks (at least one pair of golden scissors because for some reason they really like golden scissors in The City), some gold pieces, and of course his leather outfit/armor.
WEAPONS. Blackjack. Composite bow.
EXPLORATION. ???
GOALS. ???
permissions.
TRIGGERS. None really.
FOURTH-WALLING. I'm currently on the fence about this so just ask ahead of time and we'll see. It's probably okay but let me know ahead of time.
PHYSICAL CONTACT. Garrett doesn't allow people to touch him. He won't hurt anyone over it but he will quickly move away. So go for it! But be aware that will be his default reaction.
ROMANCE/SEXUAL RELATIONS. lmao. Garrett doesn't do emotions, sorry.
INJURE/KILL. Injury acceptable. No permanently maiming of limbs please. Death can be discussed if appropriate for the circumstances.
DEVICE HACKING. Yes. Let me know ahead of time but Garrett doesn't know anything about the device so it's easily done. I'd just like a heads-up if it comes into play.
THREADJACKING. Sure. Check with the other player if applicable. Be mindful of any possible encryption on network posts and whether log threads are obviously private or not. Otherwise go ahead.
ANYTHING ELSE. ???

CHARACTER NAME: Garrett
CHARACTER SERIES: Thief (2014)

OOC

Backtagging: Yes. Only extremely old tags may end up dropped, but I'll try to warn you ahead of time.
Threadhopping: Sure thing! Threadhopping network posts are an always for maximum crazy-fun! Just keep in mind other people's wishes and whether there's a lock/private format to the thread or not. Thanks!
Fourthwalling: Let's discuss it first if there's anything crazy but yeah it's mostly all green.
Offensive subjects: Eh, if I find one I'll let you know. Usually nothing bothers me in the long run.

IC

Hugging this character: Good luck. He doesn't like to be touched and will immediately move away from anyone getting too close to his person. He will not, however, react aggressively if caught unexpectedly in such a situation so that's a plus at least.
Kissing this character: Same as above.
Flirting with this character: Yes. He'll either blatantly ignore it or actively reciprocate in jest. He likes to think he's witty. Mostly he's just sarcastic and wry.
Fighting with this character: Yes. He's quick and dexterous, so he'll rely on dodging mostly. Although he does know some hand-to-hand and will knock out threats if possible. Killing, for him, is a last resort. (Arachne!Garrett is supernaturally quick and slightly more resilient than average but still perfectly injurable. Killing is still a last resort but he has more ways to maim an individual with the monster changes. He also has venom if a lethal bite is desired as a last ditch effort on his part. He'll still regret hurting/killing his opponent.) We can discuss outcomes ahead of time if desired.
Injuring this character: Yes, most injuries are in the green except for permanent maiming of limbs. (Arachne!Garrett can loose arachnid parts due to the fact that he'll regain them upon the next molting cycle so that's a thing.) We can discuss outcomes ahead of time if desired.
Killing this character: Only if it naturally comes to this in a thread. Hit me up if you have any plotting in mind to lead to this and we'll discuss it!
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Yes to telepathy, most likely a yes to mind reading. Let me know ahead of time just in case it leads to an issue that might cause problems. But it's probably okay for minor things.
Warnings: I can't think of anything at the moment. Although I am used to writing blood and gore though so if a fight gets pretty intense I might get graphic in that regard; just let me know ahead of time if that's not your jam. I'll scale it back.
