For the All Hallows Event Garrett will be turning into a Shade. A description of his features are as follows.
As a note, he will almost always be in an incorporeal shadow form while a Shade.
Normal Shadow Form:
Shadowy aura. →Completely surrounds him from head to toe. →It appears as a wispy darkness that flows in and out of his center mass.
Glowing eyes. →They appear to be made of glowing mist that hovers around the eye socket area and small wisps escape every once in a while. →His right eye is green. →His left eye is white.
Claws. →Despite his shadowy form they are quite obvious and very nasty looking, sharp and deadly.
Fangs. →Again, if he opens his shadowy maw the sharp teeth are quite obvious. →In fact, his whole mouth looks like one nasty gaping cavern surrounded by sharp pointed teeth when he opens his mouth now.
Prehensile, shadowy tendrils. →He has nine of them and their general appearance gives off the impression of eight, pointed legs coming off his sides and one cocked scorpion's tail straight out the back.
Additional Abilities:
Night vision. →Not as good as his arachnid night vision before but still way better than a human's natural night vision.
The ability to shapeshift. →Eventually Garrett will learn that he can do this with a bit of concentration.
Telekinetic ability. →Eventually he will learn about this, too. →Not very good at it at first, it's a very useful skill that he will appreciate. He'll probably try to work hard on this one to make it worthy while he has it.
Levitation. →While in shadow form Garrett always levitates a few inches off the ground. It's automatic and he doesn't have to think about it. →However, he does have to think about it while moving so (especially at first) his hovering is a bit awkward and ungainly while trying to "walk" forward or in any other direction.
Invisibility. →As seen on the tin. Aka, short periods of time and using it repeatedly will cause a rapid growth in hunger. →Garrett will be fond of this one, too, and hopefully use it to great effect sometime on a heist or two.
The ability to possess others. →Will probably never get used. Not his kind of thing.
Weakness to light. →Direct sunlight will cause him physical-like harm and eventually kill him. →Artificial white light will not harm him but he will automatically avoid it, flinch when caught unexpectedly in it, and slowly shrink when held within it for too long.
The need to feed on human souls. →New to Garrett as previously he was a meat-eater. →Will cause him the same grief as killing for meat though he will be less likely to show it now since he already knows of the necessity surrounding monster feedings.
For the Fog Strikes Back Event Garrett will be turning into a Harpy. A description of his features are as follows.
Normal Form:
Bird-like wings. →They resemble the wings of a magpie with blue-black and white markings. Iridescence included. →The wings sprout from his back as extra appendages.
Bird talons. → In place of feet. They are black as the feet of the bird that he resembles are. →His hands remain dexterous as a human's hand but gain the black skin and sharp claws resembling bird talons.
Bird tail. →The feathers of which again resembles the magpie in shape and coloration. Iridescence included.
Feathers. →Small black feathers around the eyes. →Black feathers in place of hair. →Black feathers down the back fully, connecting to the wings and tail. →Fully covering the shoulders (black near the neck and white further out [a la the bird's shoulder/wing area]) →Tufts sticking out at the elbows (iridescent blue). →Smaller feathers ringing around the wrists where the black talon-like hands begin (white). →Soft downy feathers on chest (black) and stomach (white) areas. →Legs down until the bird talons start (black).
Additional Abilities:
Extremely sharp eyesight. →Very different from what he's used to as an arachne. He prefers the awesome night vision, honestly.
Ability to predict weather patterns.
Weakness to electricity.
A nesting instinct. →Amusingly enough, he basically already does this. His nest in the clocktower (of every city ever) fits this trait perfectly. Awesome.
The ability to turn completely into a bird. →The blue magpie, of course.
Short bursts of speed.
A soothing singing voice that can charm humans, making them vulnerable to being lured. →This one may confuse him at first until he figures it out. Haha.
A side effect from the All Hallows Event, Garrett received a rune from the dying Mountain God at the end of the event. It's a simple rune with the depiction as follows.
